ErrandDrop Protect

Nobody has to go first.

The buyer worries about paying a stranger. The seller worries about doing the work and not getting paid. Protect removes both worries at once, and it is on by default.

Part one

Payment protection

Your money goes to ErrandDrop, not to the seller. We hold it until you say the job is done.

  1. 1
    You pay into ErrandDrop

The seller sees the order is paid and can start with confidence, but the money is not theirs yet and they cannot withdraw it.

  2. 2
    The work happens

The service is carried out, the item is delivered, or the rental is handed over. You can message throughout, and everything stays in the chat.

  3. 3
You confirm, then they get paid

Only when you say you got what you paid for does the money move to the seller. Until that moment it is still yours.

Full refund if something goes wrong before you confirm. The item never arrived, the work was not done, or it was not what was listed. You get every peso back.

What it covers

Not just shopping. Protect works across all three sides of the app, which is what makes it different from paying cash on delivery.

Services

Held until the job is finished and you confirm. If the provider does not turn up, you have not lost anything.

Items

Held until the item is in your hands and matches what was listed. Works even when the seller is in another city.

Rentals

The rental fee is held until handover, and any security hold returns to you once the item is back in good condition.

You pay the price on the listing. Protect costs you nothing.

Part two

Muni, our AI for safety and support

Holding the money only helps after something goes wrong. Muni works on the part before that: making sure the people you deal with are real.

Identity verification

Sellers can submit a government ID and a selfie. Muni checks the document, matches the face against it, and flags anything that looks altered before a person reviews it.

Verified sellers carry a badge, and you can see it before you pay.

Watching for the usual tricks

Muni looks for the patterns that show up before a scam does. Someone pushing you to pay outside the app. A brand new account listing expensive items far below the going rate. A price that changes after you agree.

Support that answers now

Muni handles most questions immediately, at any hour, and passes anything it cannot to a person. It can see your orders, so you are not explaining your situation from scratch.

Disputes with evidence

Because the conversation, the offer, the photos and the order all live in one place, a dispute is settled on what actually happened rather than on who argues hardest.

Muni assists our team. It does not make final decisions about verification or disputes on its own, and a person reviews anything that affects your account.

What about paying cash?

Cash on service is available, and sometimes it is the sensible choice, for a neighbour or someone you already know.

But it is worth being clear: cash is not covered by Protect. The money never passes through us, so we cannot hold it, cannot return it, and cannot guarantee an outcome if something goes wrong. Support can look into it, but there is nothing for us to reverse.

Paying in the app costs you nothing extra and covers all of that.

Common questions

Does Protect cost extra?

No. It is on for every order paid through the app, at no extra charge to the buyer.

Where does my money actually sit?

Payments are handled by a processor licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. We never see or store your card or e-wallet details.

What if I never confirm the order?

Orders confirm automatically after a set period, so a seller is not left waiting forever. If there is a real problem, raise it before that window closes and support will step in.

How long does a refund take?

Refunds go back to your original payment method. Most arrive within a few working days, depending on your bank or e-wallet.

Does Protect cover a rental deposit?

Yes. A security hold on a rental is held the same way and returns to you once the owner confirms the item came back in good condition.
